Job Details:
- Increase revenue from process improvements by checking shipping orders, palletize orders for transfer, properly shrink wrapping and weighing orders for shipping, pulling orders from stock if necessary, and filing the appropriate paperwork accurately
- Foster communication and collaborations across departments to requisition material needed to meet schedule requirements; provide feedback and information to supervisor
- Support a positive and productive work environment by maintaining a clean and organized work space, preparing paperwork and material for the next day’s work, keeping materials well stocked and ensuring orders are palletized in an orderly and correct manner
- Develop process efficiencies through efficiently loading/unloading trucks, and accurately staging/shrinking orders to be shipped
- Decrease costs by checking orders for completeness and efficiently loading and unloading trucks
- Foster customer relationships through shipping products in a timely manner
- Other duties and assignments as required
- Demanding. Must have ability to lift and carry over 75 lbs
- Employee must be able to sit, climb or balance, hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, talk, and reach with hands and arms
- Regularly sitting on forklift; frequently climbing on and off forklift
- Must be able to lift & engage dock plates on loading docks
