Summary: Responsible for loading materials into machines for production, adjusting machine speeds during production and inspecting the objects produced.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- operate the machine, which includes understanding the sequence of events, the control panel and indicators, and understand how to replenish supplies and components per Standard Operating Procedures
- set-up of the machine, which includes machine adjustments and ability to perform component component set-up (feeder loading and changing) per the manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- general machine cleaning and upkeep per the Standard Operating Procedures including adjusting machine for optimum performance.
- perform some troubleshooting and repairs for normal functioning.
- train other team members in all machines in area per QP 10/1-01 and applicable Standard Operating Procedures
- complete shortage tags

- understands that not more than one feeder should be removed at a time to prevent setup errors
- SMT workmanship requirements
- process indicators for all SMT processes and seeks corrective action
- acceptable Quality level - at the approval of Team Leader and Production Support Technicians
- acceptable Production Output - at the approval of Team Leader and Production Support Technicians
- component ID training
- completed quality systems training
- all safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements of the area
- principles of ESD and uses ESD precautions in material handling
- inventory control methods (i.e. shortages, NCM process, and understand of work order system)
- completed IPC workmanship training
- all material transactions within computer (inventory audit trails)
- ECR database
- ITAR restrictions when dealing with badges and ITAR related materials and documentation
- the 6S system (Sort, Simplify, Sweep, Standardize, Self-Discipline, Safety) and adheres to and encourages others to comply with the principles
- the Green Sheet program and our efforts to continuously improve

Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Constantly stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, talk, hear, do repetitive motions 90-100% of the time; frequently balance, finger items 60-90% of the time; Occasionally climb and push objects 30-60%; Rarely crouch, grasp 0-30% of the time.
Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.
The Team Member is required to work overtime on a constant basis.
