2nd Assistant Manager Job at Opus Inspection
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The 2nd Assistant Manager ensures that operational policies and procedures are in compliance with company-specified technical and service standards. Shares accountability for all inspection station operations, including safety of staff and customers, equipment management, Equipment QA's, partial handling of financial transactions, traffic flow/queue management , staff management and public relations.
- Greet motorists as they enter facility, providing general program information
- Explain to motorists what to do if their vehicles fail the emissions test
- Perform vehicle inspections as inspection facility volume dictates record repairs into system database
- Assist the Inspection Facility Manager and Assistant Manager in the opening and closing of facility
- Available to work extended and flexible hours
- Assist in training and supervising personnel
Education/Experience/Abilities Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication/customer service skills required
- Previous experience working in a fast paced environment a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Must have valid Driver's License
Physical Demands
Working in an area with high noise level. Exposure to exhaust fumes and extreme weather conditions. Lifting of 75 lbs. from ground to chest level. Frequent walking, bending and stooping.
