2nd Shift Warehouse Benson/Willmar Job at CNH Industrial
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist, direct, train and check the work of an assigned group of employees
- Keep Supervisor informed of any situation that adversely affects getting work completed
- Plan & assign work to ensure all receipts are completed to meet KPI’s
- Participate in team leader training and other WCM activities
- Responsible for unloading all incoming freight, either on commercial carriers or company owned trucks.
- Deliver parts, restock parts and material in a timely manner to designated location using appropriate equipment.
- (Tuggers, Narrow Aisle, Medium and Heavy Forklifts)
- Maintain positive relationships with outside carriers and customers
- Complete receiving and reconciling paperwork timely and work closely with company buyers and first line supervisors
- Responsible for reporting any shortages
- Arrange specific locations for all incoming materials, including off site locations
- Reclassify and identify locations for all materials in the warehouse
- Includes De-Canting of some materials and labeling all materials
- Ability to operate company vehicles (5th Wheel Trailer and Straight Truck) to transport material to and from offsite locations, Not required
- Maintain MAX file to show storage location of materials
- Follow process to receive incoming materials , i.e. data entry into Max
- Follow all safety and quality requirements including but not limited to the maintenance of a safe, clean and orderly Warehouse
- Perform daily housekeeping (sweep,trash,cardboard), and follow all environmental regulations, rules and policies
- Perform other related or similar duties as required or assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds in cold and heat. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Eligible to obtain a DOT health card to operate company vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess good computer skills and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Prefer thorough knowledge of equipment, storage- keeping methods and procedures, compilation of reports, data entry and computer systems and software including MAX, Andon, and MS Office programs. Ability to recognize and identify a variety of product parts and sub-assemblies by appearance, read receiving slips, shop orders, sales orders, and rework orders. Accuracy in checking, counting, identifying, recording, reporting, and verifying. Operate fork truck, have valid fork truck operators license.
