3rd ShiftABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Position Summary
Assist and support the Folder Gluer Operator in keeping the equipment running efficiently. The Folder Gluer Feeder will primarily feed the machine to maintain accurate and efficient production of materials. The Feeder will also provide support with the setup and operation of Jpack equipment.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Demonstrates commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer
- requirements
- Review the schedule and stage required stock and materials needed for upcoming jobs
- Distinguish between different carton stock types and their specific performance characteristics
- Ability to differentiate different carton styles and functionality
- Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment
- Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
- Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
- Monitor our Leary adhesive detection system(s) make minor adjustments as needed
- Flexibility to be able to move between all folder gluer equipment to fill for vacation and absences as needed
- Ability to perform all the Folder Gluer Helper tasks effectively, for the purpose of rotating during the shift
- Provide guidance and direction to assigned machine crew
- Work as a team to run the folder gluers through breaks and shift changes
- Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding area
- Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
- Actively participates in Lean manufacturing initiative

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must have good color perception
- Knowledge of inks and solvent characteristics and effects in different uses
- Flexibility to work various shifts dependent on manning needs as schedules and/or workload changes
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Rate of $17.50/hour
- Shift differential of $3 per hour
- Benefits start after 30 days
- Climate controlled facility
- Eligible for increase after 90 days
