Salary: $ 35,092.00 annual salary.

SUMMARY:
ACA/Office Administrator receives Auditor's Office incoming calls/visitors and re-routes to corresponding staff auditor. Responsible for processing travel advances & reimbursements, issuing credit cards, and ordering office supplies. Under direction of Accounts Payable Supervisor and County Auditor. Assists in the day-to-day operation of the Auditors Office, and performs related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receive all incoming calls/visitors to department.
- Process travel for county departments from request to return of trip.
- Issue Purchase Requisition for department.
- All other duties as assigned.
SECTION II-JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or G.E.D and 1 year of secretarial, reception, and/or office specialist work experience. Experience may be substituted by Associate/Bachelor Degree.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Good working knowledge of office operating procedures. Excellent verbal and communication skills in English and Spanish; skills in operating computer and basic office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with peers utilizing tact and diplomacy; ability to effectively route questions to appropriate departments; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with County employees, elected officials, governmental representatives, outside agencies and the general public.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have Texas Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station.
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
Environmental Factors: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
This is not a Civil Service covered position.
