Mason & Barry is an industry leading Building Management Systems contractor/integrator that works on some of the most challenging projects within the state of West Virginia and surrounding areas. We currently have an immediate need for a Security Technician experienced in installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting Security/Access systems. Our Security Division provides state-of-the-art systems for Higher Education, K-12 Schools, Hospitals, and C&I facilities in West Virginia; we are the sole authorized provider for Schneider Electric building solutions in the state. For the right individual, this position can lead into a Security Project Management role where you would oversee P&L and on-time completion of targeted projects.

Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

· Fundamental knowledge of video, access control, and intrusion products & software (preferred)

· Experience installing & troubleshooting low-voltage electrical components

· Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal), comfortable communicating in a variety of situations & settings

· Ability to read & interpret construction documents and drawings

· Knowledge and proficiency with PC’s/Servers, Windows OS, and Networking (Ethernet, WAN, LAN, Fiber)

· An understanding of construction and electrical contracting processes

· Attention to detail; strong organization skills

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
