Accountant Job at Commtech
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing Client Accounting and Advisory Service (CAS) practice. You'll be working on a client's full business picture throughout the year, managing various aspects of their daily, weekly, or monthly accounting, annual accounting close, including preparation of work papers, payroll, financials and reporting, and working with our Tax Team to help prepare tax projections and business filings. We expect that you will have supervisory experience, or move toward a supervisory level, supporting the CAS Director.
We use the latest technologies to support our practice areas, which include Business and Individual Taxation, International Taxation, Audit, Client Advisory Services & Bookkeeping, We serve clients in the tri-state area, nationwide and all over the world who are high net worth, have multi-state business structures, and are subject to international taxation.

Requirements for Accounting Specialist:
- 3-6 years experience in Accounting Services, Quickbooks (QBO/QBD), Payroll, Financial Reporting
- BS in Accounting, Bookkeeping certification and/or CPA certification a Plus
- Knowledge of Taxation a plus
- Experience working with multiple clients in a CPA Firm preferred
- Natural proficiency with math
- Knowledge of basic financial and accounting principles
- Proficiency with office productivity applications, and aptitude for learning new systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, quality focus, client service focus and performance under strict deadlines
- Strong aptitude in all Microsoft Office programs
