Job Description
- Reconcile daily cash collections for each department/amenity location
- Assist with the maintenance of general ledger accounts in the accounting system
- Preparation and the posting of certain journal entries into the Association’s accounting system
- Assist Payroll/Human Resources Coordinator with reporting and reconciliations
- Assist with year-end audit deliverables
- Prepare tax related information that is needed for the completion of annual tax forms
- Assist with the coordination, preparation and analysis of budget data during the annual budget process
- Assist in the preparation of monthly internal financial statements
- Expand knowledge base by participating in educational programs and reading accounting publications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or working towards sitting for CPA exam, preferred
- Firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles
- Solid command of Excel and ability to pick up new software and technology
- Willingness to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
- Ability to multitask
- Comfortable handling and storing confidential financial information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year
