Accounting Analyst - Swedish First Hill

SCHEDULE: (1 FTE) Days; 8am-5pm PST. Mondays to Fridays.

This position is responsible for developing policies and procedures to support and maintain an efficient Patient Access Revenue Cycle (PARC), which directly affects cash flow to the organization. Daily/weekly/monthly monitoring and reporting of major PARC and Accounts Receivable metrics to senior management and the entire organization. Works with departments to enable a more efficient and timely PARC process. Troubleshoots account issues and through research, determine performance trends for future training and education. Produce and present presentations to departments for informative and educational purposes. Follows up with departments to establish going metrics related to presentations. This individual will perform a leadership role in implementing contractual and regulatory requirements as required. This person will also coach and mentor the Account Data Specialists, including processing the failed claim report.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years Prior analytical/problem solving and project management experience may be substituted for experience in patient registration/financial counseling, revenue management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business Management or Health Care Administration.
• 5 years Experience in admissions, patient billing, revenue cycle or utilization review functions.
