The Accounting Support Coordinator is responsible for accurately maintaining the department’s tracker for issues related to revenue and rebated. In this role, you will work directly with members of the accounting team, as well as with company vendors. Having great communication skills will be imperative to your success in this role.
- Key Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for logging and maintaining departmental issues related to revenue and rebates, in the tracker as well as escalating them to leadership when necessary. Following up to ensure that issues have been closed out is key in this role.
- Manage vendor setup and maintain successful partnership with company vendors, as well as file maintenance for related contracts, agreements, and other appropriate documentation as it relates to each vendor.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and recommendations where necessary.
- Assist Accounting Manager in conducting the timely month-end closing, when necessary.
- Research, compile, and analyze information on a variety of specialized accounting topics.
- Assist in maintaining documentation of internal processes and procedures.
- Schedule internal and external meetings as necessary. Documenting the meetings through notes, minutes, and agendas may be required as well.
- Complete ongoing data entry, including entering credits on customer accounts, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion in all matters that are proprietary.
Key Qualifications
Associates degree in business, accounting, or other related field, or 1-2 years of experience.- Ability to problem solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of organization.
- Intermediate level experience using Excel required. Experience with Google products is a plus.
- Collaborative nature with excellent written and oral communication skills.
