One of the leading Surgical providers is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance Team! The individual must demonstrate professionalism, have excellent interpersonal/communication skills and enjoy working fast-paced, but teamwork oriented environment.

Job Summary:

Assists the Finance Department in organizing and implementing all activities of the Facility, according to policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives in the areas of Accounts Payable and other duties. Essential responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Communication:

• Communicates effectively and professionally with co-workers, vendors, and physicians
• Interacts with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner

Financial practices:

• Uses facility resources appropriately and avoids wasteful practices
• Reports wasteful practices
• Analyzes work area and makes recommendations for potential cost-effective improvements

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the Finance Department with Quickbooks entries
• Filing
  
• Contacting vendors for Invoices
• Opening and distributing mail
• Pick up mail at other Center locations

Required Education, Skills, Experience and Abilities:

• Minimum 1 year experience in Quickbooks or any other A/P Program
  
• Intermediate proficiency in data entry
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Communicates effectively with discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments
• Ability to lift 25lbs
• Ability to work overtime, if needed
• Highly organized
