Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an outgoing, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The primary function of this role is to organize, maintain, and verify all aspects of various safety credentialing and specialized training processes required for CED personnel as mandated by the client, owner or governing agency to work on or near project sites with additional duties given by the Senior Manager, Health and Safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate training/testing/credentialing for each employee in the program based internal and client needs
  • Maintain internal and external database to track credentials, and provide expiration / renewal notification to employees and their supervisors
  • Maintain accurate information on credential details, training providers and personnel records required for training admittance
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Prepare reports for CED managers
  • Perform additional general administrative tasks as assigned
  • Assist CED Employees in the program with computer program login and navigation
  • Work across multiple disciplines with a friendly and helpful manner
  • Research Safety Training/Credentialing requirements for each program to make sure we are adhering to the most recent requirements
  • Attend safety meetings as needed
  • Additional projects as directed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Business or Office Administration strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, and independently manage workload
  • Ability to work effectively with remote CED management and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
