The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Regulatory Services Senior Manager, Program Manager, and other unit supervisors in the Licensing Branch. Major responsibilities include establishing priorities, responding to internal and external customers’ needs via telephone, email, and in-person, disseminating and tracking DCDEE webmaster inquires assigned to the section, coordinating meetings, taking meeting notes, reviewing, tracking and following up on work assignments delegated by the Senior Manager. Work performed by this position contributes to the successful management operations of the Branch and Section. This position requires extensive understanding and knowledge of the Division’s policies and office procedures, particularly those affecting the Branch and Section and confidentiality of information. In addition, this position provides back-up support on an as needed, or scheduled rotation for the administrative assistants for Section leadership, the Pre-Licensing Workshop Coordinator, and the Division receptionist.

  • Experience in an office assistant or secretarial role
  • Demonstrated work experience in customer service: in-person, via email or over the phone.
  • Experience in completing and/or maintaining records and reports.
  • Experience in creating and processing documents, using correct grammar, vocabulary, and spelling to compose and/or proofread correspondence, reports, and other materials
  • Working knowledge of computers including, Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and data entry
