Job Description:
Title - Logistics Support Specialist
- Location – Phoenix, AZ
- Pay Rate – $ 23.75/Hr on W2
- Duration – 6+ Months
- Type – Contract
- Hours – 40/hrs in Week
We are hiring Logistics Support Specialist for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ.
Job Description:
- Provide specialized assistance with system operations, and coordination of programs and administrative functions
- Implement phase objectives and strategies under supervisory guidance
- Facilitate and conduct logistics project implementation meetings and presentations
- Assist in developing and promoting change management awareness campaigns
- Assist programs with asset identification and tagging
- Assist in resource planning upgrades and replacement based on expiration dates, lifecycles, capabilities, and compatibility with other systems and programs.
- Develop and implement asset and supply management training
- Implement operational and auditing processes and procedures
- Create, prepare, update, and maintain complex spreadsheets, databases, and reports; compiles and analyzes data for reports.
- Research operational issues and provide recommendations to management
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and department staff to improve program processes and increase efficiency; identify and report lesson learned
- Monitor and participate in budget planning and purchasing
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:
- Two (2) years’ experience in inventory management to include capital assets, non-capital asset, and supplies.
Education Required:
- High school diploma or GED and three (3) years responsible clerical and/or administrative experience.
- An associate’s degree may be preferred.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications.
Work hours:
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Additional Information:
- May travel to other department locations within the county through public transportation, carpooling, or county vehicle.
- This type of travel is not a requirement for employment.
- Opportunity to compete for hire with county.
