Administrative Coordinator Job at Kent Moore Cabinets
Job Summary: Responsible for performing non-overhead service related work to assist sales, service and installer when needed. Responsible for ordering all material, parts and stock items for warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair or replace any defective and/or incorrect products when doing so does not involve overhead work.
- Follow up and maintain control of installation to ensure quality work.
- Maintain paperwork to established guidelines.
- Maintain due date performance as defined by supervisor.
- Order necessary material and parts.
- Identify areas of improvement and offer solutions, as well as implement changes to correct these areas.
- Work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the maximum throughput of products by minimizing costs and improving processes and product flow.
- Assist with phone in Georgetown office when needed.
- Check in work order truck daily.
Qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have ability to use tape measure and all necessary hand and power tools.
- Should have knowledge of, or ability to use tape measures, saws, drill, and hand tools.
- Must have mathematical skills to take measurements on cabinets and materials.
- Must have reading skills to read parts lists and product details.
- Must possess excellent customer relation skills.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Must have ability to move freely around unfinished job sites.
- Must be capable of communicating effectively with management, co-workers and customers, both over the telephone and in person.
- Frequently uses fingers to operate telephone, grasp and use pens/pencils and paper, operate calculator, use tape measure and perform other job duties.
- Must be mentally alert and capable of remembering faces, names, oral instructions and details.
- Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures, if directed.
- Handles drills, hand tools, hardware and wood furniture parts. Handling may be done unilaterally (one-handed) or bilaterally (two-handed) depending on size and shape of object and task being performed.
- Must be mentally alert and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks.
- Must be able to work the required daily and weekly work hours as determined by the schedule.
- Good attendance and punctuality is necessary.
