Administrative Services Specialist - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
SUMMARY:
  • Performs activities that support policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Responsible for the management and preparation of documents, communication to team members, and assuring the quality control of credit union images and files.
  • Responsible for supporting the organization in various tasks, including but not limited to, internal document oversight, distribution, and processing, verifications, member document requests and maintenance.
  • Involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or referring guests and team members.
  • Maintains credit union professional image.

EDUCATION/CERTICATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Familiar with imaging concepts, practices and procedures. Basic understanding of company operations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions including record keeping, document imaging technologies, protocols and development tools.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Must have demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
  • Familiar with imaging concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Good communication skills: courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
  • Professional appearance, dress and attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machine, typewriter, copy machine and telephone.
  • Good keyboarding and data entry.
