Position Summary:
The Administrative Technology Specialist will be responsible for supporting Administrative teams by ensuring they have access to data and technology which foster more efficient and effective completion of their goals.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Interfacing with internal customers in an effort to identify requirements for a technology based initiatives
- Developing mockups and specifications on behalf of stakeholders
- Supporting IT during the development phase
- Creating test scripts and participate in the testing of new technology solutions
- Conducting quality assurance testing
- Facilitating user acceptance testing
- Assisting in the development of training materials and rollout
- Collaborating with the Project Management Office team members on relevant projects
- Providing assistance in the search for and evaluation of potential third party technology solutions
- Assisting in the design of new technologies, including prototyping and development of information architecture
- Developing reporting solutions for stakeholders using tools such as MS Access and SQL Server
- Providing Salesforce Help support to Admin users
To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
- Previous LTL Pricing, Billing, Customer Service, Sales, Accounts Receivable and/or Rates experience is encouraged, not required; Bachelor's degree
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with specific deadlines
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated, highly organized, self-aware, collaborative, and open to feedback
- Ability to learn new tasks and technologies quickly and easily
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while still providing individual production goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
