The AIT program provides training to candidates to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Candidates are prepared to manage a long-term care facility; working side by side with employees in a long-term care setting, they will learn the ins and outs of each department, and receive mentor-shipfrom experienced leaders in the industry.
Candidates must have prior health care experience and a college degree.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field is preferred.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Must be able to travel occasionally, including overnight stays.
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with other associates at all levels.
Must pass criminal background check and reference inquiry.
