Overview:
Calo Programs is adding a full time mental health counselor to our team of adolescent therapists. In this role, you will manage a caseload of up to five students, ages 11-18, who are facing attachment, complex trauma, and emotional regulation challenges. Each week you will facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to help bring about systemic change in struggling families.

ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST
Pay: $60,000 to $70,000
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Location: Lake Ozark, Missouri

In this role, you will manage a caseload of up to five students, ages 11-18, who are facing attachment, complex trauma, and emotional regulation challenges. Each week you will facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to help bring about systemic change in struggling families.

To thrive in this role, you must be able to:
Learn and align with company culture, program norms, and CASA (Commitment, Acceptance, Security, Attunement) treatment model- Demonstrate proficiency in the CASA and DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy) treatment process
- Work alongside our team of Golden Retrievers in support of Calo’s Canine Therapy department
- Maintain current documentation
- Effectively de-escalate students to include physical interventions when necessary
- Participate in training and professional growth in Calo trauma interventions
- Maintain or demonstrate progress toward professional licensure
We are looking for someone with:
A Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in a behavioral health related field.- Unrestricted licensure (ie: LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, PLMFT, LMFT) by your respective State Board
- Eligibility to acquire licensure in the state of Missouri upon hire (will consider provisional, unlicensed, or recent graduates)
