Job : Agency Service Representative

Location: Midtown, NY
Type: Full Time

Job Responsibilities include:

· Provide prompt, efficient, high quality professional service to various Retail Agencies

· Produce and/or transmit Acord applications from large Retail Agents and submit required applications to the various insurance companies that Embrace Partners are authorized to access and/or have Managing General Underwriting authority with.

· Track Underwriting Submission and answer underwriter questions during the pre-bind quotation process.

· Re-package the insurance carrier quotation onto Embrace Underwriting Management System, highlighting key policy forms, relevant policy endorsements, and notable policy limitations.

· Recommend to Retail Agent various coverage enhancement options available to their policyholder.

· Bind Underwriting Quotations.

· Prepare Binder Issuance Documents to the Retail Agent

· Attach State Specific Excess and Surplus Lines Statutory Forms, i.e., Affidavit of Effort.

· Manage the filing of applicable State specific Surplus Lines Taxes and Stamping Fees

· Maintain detailed office records and files for each policyholder, including policies to be reinstated or canceled.

· Complete and submit policy change requests to Underwriters.

· Process invoicing within Agency Management System, including monthly batch invoicing.

· Work with our sister Company, The Cayemitte Group, Inc. (a Commercial Lines Retail Agency) to prepare Excess and Surplus Lines Submissions that TCG’s Admitted Insurance Markets will not underwrite.

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 years of Commercial Lines Placement and Underwriting experience in a commercial insurance agency and or Commercial Insurance Company, handling a wide range of commercial risks to include Construction, Law Firms, Computer Technology Firms, Manufacturing and Non-Profit insurance risks.

· Licensed Property and Casualty Broker

· Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines coverage to include General Liability, Excess Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Directors & Officers, Cyber Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime and Commercial Surety

· Highly Proficient in Vertafore AMS 360 and or Applied-Epic Systems including creating applications and relevant submission documents, certificates, and monthly batch invoicing.

· Knowledge and experience with Surety Bonding and surety underwriting a plus.

· Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Highly organized, self-starter

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.80 per year
