Agile Product Owner Job at Computer Aid, Inc.(CAI)
Job Summary
CAI is hiring! We are in immediate need of an Agile Product Owner. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with possible extensions and 100% remote.
This is a technical and administrative position responsible for the daily oversight, maintenance, and operations of the Business Systems. The Agile Product Owner will be responsible for coordinating events around the business systems (i.e. UAT, system upgrades, fixes, etc.), communication between vendors, staff and providers, and assisting with long-range planning and reporting. This position participates in the Agile flow and you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the client’s business systems, as directed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Monitors and ensures business systems (including CIE and Provider Direct) remain operational
- Records downtime and causes when they occur
- Coordinates troubleshooting when system downtime occurs
· Works within Azure DevOps as product specialist overseeing the flow of tasks as it relates to his/her business area.
· Acts as liaison between Business units and IT Business Systems for business system operations, upgrades and maintenance
· Acts as liaison between vendors and client for business system operations, upgrades, and maintenance
· Assigns and regulates business system access for staff and providers following clients’ policies and procedures
· Includes coordinating with other departments, staff, providers and vendors to ensure proper paperwork and authorizations are obtained prior to access being granted
· Oversees and coordinates UAT testing for any upgrades to the business systems pursuant to the Agile flow.
· Communicates to the staff and Providers on any updates, scheduled downtimes, or problems with the business systems
· Monitors systems for application integrity concerns and assists Business Systems team with identifying and correcting issues as they arise
· Responds to tickets from the KACE System when appropriate and records the problems and solutions in the KACE System.
· Provides reports and produces metrics as requested including weekly IT report and monthly Metrics Report
· Good communication and documentation skills
· Discovers and contributes to the development, implementation, and maintenance of business systems functional architecture, detail systems design, configuration, or program specifications to deliver IT system outcomes that meet user and organization needs
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience
· Two (2) year degree required. Applicable certification(s) may be substituted to equivalent degree requirements. 2 year degrees require certification.
· Minimum 4 years’ experience in project based work structures, application lifecycle models, or software development or equivalent of higher education or higher education/experience
· Prefer two-year degree plus four years project management, business analyst, or other information analytics experience plus one or more listed certifications or equivalent of higher education or higher education/experience.
· MTA, MCSA (BI), Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP or PMI-ACP or ITIL or International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) CCBA or CBAP, ITIL v3, or an equivalent certification will be accepted.
Skills
· Function: Monitor status of business systems and communicate condition effectively
· Knowledge:
· Thorough knowledge of the operation and configuration of the Business System.
· Understanding end user UI specifications and providing support for both internal and
· external informational needs by understanding both the behavioral health system and
· business data system(s).
· Experience in SQL programming language (writing/executing simple queries)
· Ability to troubleshoot problems in a logical and effective manner.
· Ability to work positively and effectively with all staff, providers and vendors
· Ability to meet deadlines for project completion in an orderly and timely manner.
· Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple priorities and make necessary work
· scheduling changes.
· Ability to test programs and processes to verify accuracy.
· Ability to interpret and communicate complex IT processes to end-users.
Physical Demands
· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
· Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
· Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
