The alarm monitor will provide constant monitoring of the 600 plus alarmed zones on the Fort Hood military installation and immediately take appropriate action, to include, informing the Directorate of Emergency Services Police Dispatcher of any alarm zone status change requiring a Police response force response. The Alarm Monitoring Station (AMS) operator will also keep the Contracting Officer’s Representative, the alarm maintenance technician, fully informed as to all zone and alarm system events that require maintenance action. The AMS operators will keep an accurate and detailed log of any event and every event, or other information pertinent to the overall AMS operation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience reading monitors
• Must be able to read, write and speak English as a high school level.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with various team and management leadership.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
