Architect - Luxury Homes (Revit Experience) Job at Classic Cottages, LLC
Responsibilities:
Classic Cottages is seeking a talented Architectural Production Manager to join our office. This position will oversee the production of permit ready plan sets in support of the company’s project requirements. This position will provide quality assurance oversight for other team members’ work, adherence to project production schedules and produce your own deliverables. The position requires collaborating closely with a team of in-house architects, interior designers, land planners, landscape architects and consultants on multiple projects with a variety of project types throughout the Northern Virginia area, including single Family homes across multiple market segments, accessory dwelling units and small multi family. The successful candidate must be a leader, initiative-taker, organized, flexible and possess a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- 10+ years’ experience in architectural practice
- Demonstrates working knowledge of conceptual, schematic, design development construction documentation and construction administration phases on assigned projects
- Ability to independently develop permit documents for single family residents
- Assure permit requirements for local jurisdiction building permit sets are achieved, vast knowledge in Northern Virginia building codes required
- Maintains and initiates frequent communication with team members in the design, construction, and Architecture departments to sustain proper information flow
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Graphic presentation skills, Proficiency in Revit
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and Sketch-up.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in graphic software
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software
