Position: Birthday Lead Instructor (Part-Time)

About PLAYDAY:
Open seven days a week, PLAYDAY provides indoor and outdoor Grown Up & Me Art & Music
classes for children 1-4 as well as After School creative programming, Creative Camp, and
customized birthday parties for ages 5-12 in a safe small group studio environment with highly
educated and experienced instructors.
We are in partnership with multiple progressive, pre-schools, and middle schools where our
highly talented staff also instructs everything from Painting and Textiles to Cartooning and
Architecture.
Schedule: Flexible schedule but must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities include:
- Instructing engaging and creative art classes and projects.
- Lead and participate in birthday party events during the weekends.
- Communicating professionally with the store manager.
- Cleaning the space during and after classes.
- Picking up children from schools in walking distance.
- Maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
All PLAYDAY staff is required to have a degree in the ARTS from an accredited College or
love for sharing relevant art history and modern techniques.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.
