Job Overview:
SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role support builds of prototype medical devices and develop related processes. The position is responsible for fabrication of medical devices per work instructions and work order deviations. The technician will be responsible for completing and maintaining batch records for builds. Minimal work in inventory control and tracking will also be required. The work includes manual, some semi-automated builds and automated processes.
1. Prototype Builds:
Key duties and responsibilities include:
ú Build devices per written protocol and approved deviation.
ú Ability to follow work instructions and operate semi-complex equipment, as necessary.
ú Ability to run automated equipment, perform set-ups, troubleshooting and components exchange
ú Complete and maintain work orders paperwork.
ú Recommend improvements to the processes, as needed.
ú Delegate Operators tasks
2. Inventory Control and Tracking:
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Assist with receipt of raw materials and components, including unpacking, coordination of release testing and documentation.

Organizational:
§ The incumbent must have good organizational, documentation and problem-solving skills.
§ The incumbent must be a self-starter with capability of working under minimal supervision; delivering on goals and quotas as assigned.
§ The incumbent must be able to quickly learn how to assemble numerous and various assemblies.
§ The incumbent must be able to read and write English, and follow instructions written in English.
§ The incumbent must be disciplined to arrive to work on time.
§ The incumbent must be willing to identify and communicate Quality or Safety issues immediately.
§ The incumbent must have experience with automated equipment, able to follow machine set-up instructions, batch changes and machine maintenance
§ The incumbent must have work experience in clean room environment and medical device production
Technical:
§ The incumbent must have hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment.
§ The incumbent must have experience working on minor mechanical trouble shooting issues.
§ It is preferred that the incumbent have experience with micro-scale assembly.
§ It is preferred that the incumbent have experience working in GMP regulated environments.
§ It is preferred that the incumbent have experience working with automated equipment.
Functional:
The incumbent has computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel.
§ The incumbent must have experience with automated equipment, able to follow machine set-up instructions, batch changes and machine maintenance
§ The incumbent must have work experience in clean room environment and medical device production
Technical:
§ The incumbent must have hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment.
§ The incumbent must have experience working on minor mechanical trouble shooting issues.
§ It is preferred that the incumbent have experience with micro-scale assembly.
§ It is preferred that the incumbent have experience working in GMP regulated environments.
§ It is preferred that the incumbent have experience working with automated equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
