Grupo Antolin, a full-service supplier leader in the design, development and manufacturing of automotive interior components, is seeking an Assembly Technician for the Nashville, IL location.

This is a 2nd shift opening, 2:00pm-10:30pm.

• Responsible for detecting process problems including tooling, machine, and secondary equipment and initiating corrective action.
• Setup tools correctly to run consistent parts.
• Process out new tooling, new materials, and prototype tooling.
• Responsible for training operators to work independently on day-to-day issues.
• Work directly with Maintenance, Tooling, and Engineering to improve the process and correct any problems.
• Oversee the completion and proper filing, startup, and downtime sheets.
• Responsible for creating and revising process parameter sheets and developing allowable tolerances.
• Work directly with Supervisors and TSG to coordinate tool changes.
• Establish scheduled checks to ensure process stability.
• Work directly with equipment manufacturers to do initial try-outs on new machinery as well as being involved with new press requirements and improvements.
• Be involved with new program capability studies.
• Responsible for reviewing scrap sheets and log books with Business Units on a regular basis to further improve and develop headliner molding.
• Be involved in resolving any safety issues with headliner molding programs.
• Responsible for visual tags (first off, last off, tool work, etc.).
• Promotion of Continuous Improvement and efficiency.
• Provide feedback to work area from supervision and other departments.
• Reduce cost to maintain standards.
• Support departments by keeping machines running and establishing TPM and PM as required.
• Able to represent at customer or vendor locations.
• Perform tool changes as necessary.
• Additional duties as required.

Pay: $23.48 - $25.48 per hour
