POSITION: Assembler Technicians - DIRECT HIRE
SHIFTS:
- 1st shift: 5:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday
- 2nd shift: 4:00 pm - 2:30 am Monday - Thursday
COMPENSATION: Up to $18/hr
Assembler Technicians should expect to work an average of 45-50 hours per week
Job Description:
- Assembler technicians are performing mechanical assembly on custom aerospace parts.
- Working from aerospace drawings/blueprints
- Performing quality inspection using micrometers and calipers
- Marking parts & deburring parts
- Operating various machines including tumblers, grinders, drills, rivet guns, etc.
- Loading parts
- Tac welding
- Sand blasting
- Assisting in Laser & Brake press departments
- Material handling
Qualifications:
Must:
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude or mechanical assembly experience
- Manual dexterity to handle small parts
- Attention to detail
- Reading comprehension to follow written work orders and complete documentation
- Soft skills, including a positive attitude and the ability to work as a team
- Ability and willingness to be cross-trained and dynamic
Plus:
- Grinding/deburring
- Micrometers and calipers
- Reading blueprints
- Welding
- Operating machines
- Familiar with material handling/parts flow
- Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar continuous improvement training
Physical Requirements: Candidates will rarely lift anything heavy, but should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Tools/Equipment Needed: All tools and PPE are provided
