**Kohler Power Systems is in need of Production Assembly Welders - Full-Time to join our 3rd shift staff! The core hours are 10 pm – 6am. This position is located in Saukville, WI!

This position will accomplish set-up and all position welding on a diversified line of weldments and structures involving a variety of parts and assemblies.

**In this role you will:

**

• Set up and use a variety of welding equipment e.g. Oxy-Acetylene gas, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and Plazma.

• Possess certification to test product reliability and integrity.

• Weld to proper dimensions and to meet general requirements.

• Work from drawings, blueprints, job layouts, and sketches.

• Fit, position, and weld a variety of items e.g. frames, tanks, pipes, production service equipment and machinery etc. as well as chip and grind welds as required.

• Perform a variety of duties requiring a cutting torch.

• Carry out all required safety functions.

• Measure, understand, act on and report quality and operations information.

**Minimum Requirements

**

• High School diploma or equivalent

• An understanding of welding fundamentals

• Basic welding experience and/or training

• Successful completion of internal weld test

• Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment

• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check

• Must be at least 18 years old

You should be proficient in:

• Blueprint Reading
• Welding Setups for Production

• MIG Assembly Welder - Full-Time
• TIG Assembly Welder - Full-Time
