This position will accomplish set-up and all position welding on a diversified line of weldments and structures involving a variety of parts and assemblies.
**In this role you will:
**
Set up and use a variety of welding equipment e.g. Oxy-Acetylene gas, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and Plazma.
Possess certification to test product reliability and integrity.
Weld to proper dimensions and to meet general requirements.
Work from drawings, blueprints, job layouts, and sketches.
Fit, position, and weld a variety of items e.g. frames, tanks, pipes, production service equipment and machinery etc. as well as chip and grind welds as required.
Perform a variety of duties requiring a cutting torch.
Carry out all required safety functions.
Measure, understand, act on and report quality and operations information.
**Minimum Requirements
**
High School diploma or equivalent
An understanding of welding fundamentals
Basic welding experience and/or training
Successful completion of internal weld test
Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
Must be at least 18 years old
You should be proficient in:
- Blueprint Reading
- Welding Setups for Production
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- MIG Assembly Welder - Full-Time
- TIG Assembly Welder - Full-Time
- Stick Assembly Welder - Full-Time
