Job Description
Purpose of Position
Assist the Recruitment Director plans, initiate, monitor, direct, coordinate and administer programs relating to recruitment and employment of staff for Kings County Hospital. Assist with training and developing the Recruiters to development recruitment sources. Responsible for all recruitment activities, from creating job opening records in PeopleSoft TAM, sourcing/reviewing resumes, sharing resumes with hiring managers, scheduling interviews, following up on interviews, referring to facility HR for onboarding, etc. for H+H employee-type vacancies that are clinical. This position also is assigned to support recruitment efforts to multiple clinical departments within their designated facility, and covers recruitment in the absence of other Senior TA Partners or TA Partners.
Summary of Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, consultation and coordination for recruitment programs and related initiatives.
- Evaluates trends in recruitment and the job market to recommend recruitment strategies; as well as, assist with developing and implementing strategies for sourcing
- Develops recruitment resources and linkages with the educational community to enhance recruitment among graduates; develops strategic relationships with other various talent sources.
- Assist with training Recruitment staff on Talent Acquisition Process.
- Develops, attends and accesses recruitment activities, such as job fairs and career days hosted Systemwide, or by the health care settings or other sponsors.
- Formulates the application of management information systems to provide analytical tools for assessing and evaluating recruitment programs and activities.
- Develops workflows and metrics for measurement efforts and effectiveness
- Manages all aspects of full cycle recruitment process including: posting of jobs, sourcing/reviewing resumes and scheduling of interviews.
- Shares qualified applicants with hiring managers and HR staff throughout the System and track movement via ATS
- Supports the talent acquisition team by leveraging social media and recruitment job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, nurse recruiter and other tools; post to college boards)
- Works closely with various hiring managers/HR staff to obtain status of recruitment efforts.
- Maintains requisition, applicant activity and status in web-based applicant tracking system per regulatory and company guidelines
- Assists with career fair planning and efforts / Attend internal and external events /Virtual events
- Partners with managers and/or HR Professionals, to evaluate, develop, and implement effective recruitment strategies and processes to attract qualified candidates to the organization.
- Ensures candidate’s background meets requirements on job descriptions by screening applications and resumes prior to submitting to hiring managers and/or HR managers.
- Maintains confidential HR files
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Master's Degree with specialization in Personnel Management, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Psychology or Vocational Guidance, and two years of experience in personnel management or personnel administration in a large governmental agency, hospital or healthcare facility or civic organization or business firm employing at least three-hundred employees, one year of which must have been in a responsible administrative or supervisory capacity; or,
2. A Baccalaureate Degree issued from an accredited college or university, and three years of experience as indicated in (1), two years of which shall have been in a responsible administrative or supervisory capacity. (Experience which consists solely of the maintenance of personnel transactions will not be accepted); or,
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Excellent analytical skills; ability to manage large about of data and present in summary formats
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and federal and New York state laws regarding employment practices
