We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our FAENA location!

We have locations in Coral Gables, Davie, Downtown Doral, Brickell, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, South Beach, and Hallandale, and seven new locations are opening this year.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a "Restaurant-Café Assistant Manager," you will assist the manager in organizing daily operations and motivating our staff to provide excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, you should have relatable work experience. You should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.

Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement, and turn our restaurant café into a favorite local spot. As an SP Hospitality executive team member, we expect you to lead by example and maintain a positive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the café
• Support on onboarding new wait staff
• Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
• Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
• In the managers' absence, help with scheduling and payroll needs.
• In the managers' absence, Coordinate with vendors and order supplies as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk, and other ingredients)
• Maintain updated records of daily, weekly, and monthly operations
• Ensure all restaurant-café areas are clean and tidy as per company guidelines
• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
• Ensure staff exceeds customer service expectations by always being available to assist when necessary and provide ongoing training and development when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (or equivalent) is required.
• One or more years of working in a hospitality management role required
• Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent motivational and leadership skills
• Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
