Our facility in Courtland, AL is seeking a North Alabama (Courtland and Huntsville) Associate Property Manager.

Summary of key duties for this position:

Responsible for overseeing and managing the accountability of both Government and Company owned property from the initial acquisition and receipt of property, through stewardship, and use through disposition for all contract property.

Manage and support property team members across two LM Space No. Alabama locations.

Property Management direct interface for both internal and external audits (i.e., DCMA/DCAA Government, Internal LM Mission Success, AS9100), as required.

Responsible for providing property management guidance and technical direction, interpretation of the FAR, DFAR's and other governing agency regulations concerning property management policies, government, and company regulations at the site level related to both Government and Company owned property.

Conduct Property Management sustainment meetings.

Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions of both salaried and non-exempt employees.

Conduct site(s) Property Management Self-Assessments to discover any deficiencies, identify root causes, build, and implement an effective corrective action plan(s), where required and tracking of CAP(s) to ensure a healthy compliant property management system.

Conduct building walk-throughs, process verifications, metrics, and report on the health of the Property Management System.

Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions of both salaried and non-exempt employees.

Interface with leaders across multiple programs to ensure asset utilization reviews are performed.

Responsible for meeting customer schedules, milestones, and deadlines.

Support leader in managing operating expenses within budget.

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years demonstrated leadership of a team and within a larger organization

Must be US Citizen as this position requires special access to support the program.

Possess a Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Must have commanding knowledge of Government property management rules and regulations and accountability of equipment and material management as outlined in the FAR, DFARS and the Business System Rule.

Experience in conducting and supporting audits

Familiar with ERP/SAP Applications.

Ability to build charts and present charts at multiple leadership levels.

Ability to travel locally between Courtland, Huntsville, and alternate sites
Desired Skills:
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel and management.

Exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications.

Ability to work independently.

Familiar with DCMA/PCO/ACO/GPA Agencies, jurisdiction, and functions.

Possess a National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certification(s).

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

LM21 Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent lean six sigma training.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
