The Salesforce Associate Administrator will provide support for the organization’s implementation through as the first line of support for platform users and assisting the team with maintenance and administration of our Salesforce system. The position will be responsible for user helpdesk tickets, user onboarding, testing, training, and implementing Salesforce changes. This is a high-impact role on a dynamic and high-growth team.
Job Description
- Function as Salesforce SME resource for users
- Principal responsibility for user support and resolution of user help requests.
- Provide responses to help requests or sales and marketing partners within timeframes dictated by the severity of the problem.
- Document support calls and knowledge base with common problem resolutions.
- Create and maintain training materials and user documentation for software applications
- Modify and maintain standard reports, dashboards, and list views
- Support development standard configures for Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud and Service Cloud applications
- Support standard operational requests and reporting including customer analysis and individual views, and assist in troubleshooting issues
- Support the implementation of the customer facing portal.
- Support maintenance of database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management.
- Support maintenance of Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
- Follow Salesforce.com best practices for system maintenance and configurations.
- Research operational processes and identify solutions to resolve problems and/or improve efficiency
- Act as conduit for end user feedback about applications. Be their advocate within the Commercial Technology team for end user requirements and solutions.
- Support maintenance of implementation materials and processes for implementation of software applications
- Participate in ongoing education and skill development in Salesforce applications and other associated systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience working with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or one of the other Salesforce offerings
- 1 year experience working on Salesforce Lightning UI
- Active Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Associate Administrator desired
- Experience working in support desk software/tickets systems such as Service Now or Jira Service Desk
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data; summarize findings, derive conclusions, and present recommendations.
- Experience working in an agile methodology is desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex concepts and information to diverse audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding.
- Ability to inspire stakeholder confidence in solutions being put forth.
- Must be able to organize & prioritize a high volume of tasks with potentially conflicting demands and competing timelines.
- Patience with non-technical users
- Great collaboration, truly values being part of a cross-functional team
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science (or other related field) or applicable experience
- Minimum one year in sales support role
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making
- Basic understanding of business audit compliance
- Working Knowledge of:
- Integrated CRM Tool
- Salesforce.com, DOMO, PROS
- Mobile Reporting, Information sharing
- SDS, Business Objects, or other BI platform
- Previous Salesforce.com experience preferred
- Experience with applications such as Salesforce, Domo, Business Objects (or other BI), SQL and PROS preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects & work independently
- Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
- Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to adapt and assist in change management processes
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically to solve problems
- Business requirements gathering and project management skills
- Self-motivated, quick learner that works well independently and with a team
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple workloads and requests
- Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to read, write and speak in English required. Bilingual/Multilingual skills desirable.
- The ability to travel independently, valid U.S. drivers’ license, and ability to meet Company driving standards.
