Custom Computer Specialists is seeking an Associate System Engineer to join our team in a Healthcare environment. In this role, you will be working closely with the System Engineer/Network Manager, you will ensure that the network and data center resources are configured optimally and securely to provide a reliable computing environment.
This position offers a temporary-to-permanent opportunity. You must be vaccinated for COVID-19 to be considered for this position.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and troubleshoot network switches, servers, and appliances, providing hands-on support.
- Administer the Active Directory system.
- Troubleshoot and repair network access issues.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly data replication and backups.
- Manage and administer firewall and security appliances.
- Oversee the administration of the Microsoft Server environment and operating systems.
- Manage and administer the VMWare environment.
- Handle the administration of IP Telephony/phones.
- Install and repair faulty or damaged operating system software.
- Maintain standard desktop images.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of IT support experience.
- A+ certification preferred.
- CCNA certification preferred.
- MSCA certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience with Active Directory and VMWare preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized with good decision-making and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of desktop management tools and principle.
