Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising

  • Attend Seasonal meetings led by Buying & Merchant team to align on key priorities each season
  • Coordinate seasonal sample pass process between Buyers / Merchants and Photo Studio
  • Support the execution of all projects related to Men’s Visual Merchandising: Seasonal Floorsets or Product Updates, weekly Visual Updates, key product / brand launches, Store tests, etc.
  • Facilitate walkthroughs in Mock Store to review category positioning and product presentations
  • Support Guide production through providing clear communication for all Store options
  • Participate in the creation of supplemental Visual directives (i.e. training, props lists, etc.)
  • Provide recommendations to Buying and Allocations teams regarding inventory and sell through

Teamwork
  • Plan, organize, and multi-task in a fast pace environment with high attention to detail
  • Attend weekly cross functional and team meetings with intent to participate in group discussion
  • Partner and communicate cross functionally via email and in-person meetings
  • Work closely with entire Visual & Marketing team to ensure all initiatives and deadlines are met
  • Ability to problem solve and provide creative ways to improve work efficiencies or processes
  • Support Sr. Manager of Visual Merchandising with additional Visual projects

Special Projects
  • Contribute to concepting phase of new props, fixtures, and/or marketing initiatives
  • Support new Store openings and/or remodels through execution timelines
  • Complete weekly Store visits with emphasis during heavy updates or Floorset time periods
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Mock Store (i.e. samples, hardware, etc.)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience Required:
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Strong Project Management skills with the ability to work well with cross functional partners
  • Knowledgeable of current fashion & visual merchandising trends to apply to PacSun brand
  • Ability to work as a team member, cross functionally and independently
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and be highly flexible
  • Experience in Adobe Suite programs (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) preferred
  • Retail and/or Corporate Visual Merchandising experience

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear
  • The associate is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands / arms
  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting
  • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout the building
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 30 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
  • Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours or more
  • Ability to sit at work station for 8 hours or more
  • Use of laptop/desktop computer
  • Use of multiple tools/hardwar
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
