Maintain standards of the game and ensure that the league rules are enforced. Job Responsibilities • Referee games by maintaining standards; penalize and diffuse behavior; ensure that specified rules are enforced by using the appropriate signals and mechanics while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. • Communicate and report issues. Report the scores of games; complete and submit game score sheets.

- Other duties as assigned. Required Education, License/Certification and Experience • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required • Previous experience officiating baseball, basketball, softball or flag football as an umpire, score marker or referee required • ASA, WIAA or NCAA Official certification preferred Note: This Original Examination is open to all qualified applicants authorized to work in the United States. In accordance with Rule III section 11 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position. The non-competitive examination will consist of a review of candidate materials, education and related experience.
