Beckley Automotive is a family owned Independant Auto Repair Shop with a great reputation in Des Moines for over 45 years. We are a very busy shop with state of the art facilities in need of a quality technician with a focus on customer satisfaction and long relationships.
If you have an interest in working on fun high end cars Beckley Automotive would be a great place for you as approximately 75% of the vehicles we work on are European cars and SUV's.
Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanics Responsibilities:
- Able to repair a range of automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, etc
- Completes service and repair assignments efficiently, safely and correct, to pass quality inspections set forth by our quality standards
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
Automotive Technician / Automotive Mechanics Qualifications:
- 2 years automotive technician / mechanic experience
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
- Strong Automotive knowledge
- Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools in good working order
- Valid Driver’s License
