Bonjour Ballet is a children's ballet school that specializes in teaching preballet. Our goal is to give as many children as we're able a wonderfully positive experience and expose them to the incredible world of ballet and all it offers! We're a boutique school located in San Clemente and Rancho Santa Margarita. Bonjour Ballet is seeking passionate and experienced teachers that love working with young children. Positions are available at both locations.

Responsibilities

• Present lessons in a comprehensive and exciting manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instruction as needed by promoting interactive learning and creativity
• Retail sales as needed
• Check-in students and make extra effort to ensure their comfort as well as their caregivers
• Maintain a tidy, orderly and sanitized dance area
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents and employees
• Sanitize area according to Covid-19 guidelines frequently
• Demonstrate high enthusiasm for ballet, maintain energy in classes and be aware of students and their needs at all times
• Involvement in bi-yearly recitals

Skills

• Proven experience as a ballet teacher
• Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures
• Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
• Well-organized and committed
• Creative and energetic
• Strong moral values and discipline
• Knowledge of CPR (preferred)
• Background in dance
• Experience working with young children

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
