We are in need of an audio/visual savvy banquet service professional to join our team of service professionals.

Job Overview:

Verify that all AV equipment needed is in the inventory before event. Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems. Ensure all equipment is fully operational, repair and clean as necessary.

Assist with banquet food and beverage service, as needed. Act as department lead in absence of Banquet Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the set-up of AV equipment in banquet/meeting rooms
  • Provide technical support, setup, operation and maintenance of AV equipment
  • Participate in and supervise overall function of banquets departments
  • Act as day of event point of contact for event leaders
  • Set up banquet room based on banquet event order
  • Misc. banquet duties as directed by Banquet Manager

Specific Job Knowledge and Skills:

The individual must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ensures that the work specified on banquet event orders are carried out accurately and efficiently.
  • Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the setup and maintenance of A/V equipment such as Projectors, Control Systems, TV Panels, High-End Speakers and other Audio Video equipment's is preferred.
