Juvie Kids Salon is seeking a Barber in a fresh new concept of hair, nails, ear piercing and makeup services for toddlers to teenagers, in a fun, high design space with a kids play area and teenage selfie station. While we service the littlest ones, we are also a full-service salon for moms and dads on the go. We offer a variety of mommy and me packages and daddy daughter pamper sessions. Juvie Kids Salon embraces diversity and self-expression. We are proud to provide a unique set of services from kids cuts to box braids.

The Role: The ideal candidate is cool, calm and collected when under pressure with the keen ability to smile through it all. Must demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, fun atmosphere.

o Haircuts, trims, and shapes hair, based on clients' requests, hair type, and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers, Pens and razors.

o Analyzes clients' hair and other physical features to determine and recommend hairstyles and proper products to use

Requirements:

o Education: Graduation from an approved cosmetology school

o License: Currently licensed to practice cosmetology in the state of Florida.

o License: Currently licensed to practice Barbering in the state of Florida

o Experience: 1-2 years of experience recommended.

o Experience in children's salon (Considered)

o English / Spanish (Considered)

Schedule:

• 4-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Tuesday to Friday
• Weekend availability
