Position Overview: As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving exceptional coffee and beverages to our customers. You will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring that each guest's experience is memorable. Responsibilities:

• Coffee Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and pour-over coffee, ensuring consistently high-quality and flavorful results.
• Customer Service: Welcome customers in a friendly and engaging manner. Provide prompt and attentive service, answering questions about our coffee offerings, making recommendations, and accommodating special requests.
• Brewing Techniques: Demonstrate a deep understanding of different coffee brewing methods, such as espresso machines, pour-over, French press, and cold brew. Adjust brewing parameters to achieve the desired taste profiles.
• Menu Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our coffee and beverage menu, including the origin, characteristics, and flavor profiles of each coffee bean. Educate customers about our offerings and guide them in making their coffee selections.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper care and maintenance of coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewing tools. Clean and sanitize equipment regularly to maintain optimal performance and hygiene.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process customer orders and handle cash transactions. Maintain a balanced cash register and follow cash handling procedures diligently.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, brewing area, and customer seating area. Follow hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and staff.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring coffee bean inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the management team. Participate in stock rotation and replenishment activities to ensure freshness and availability of coffee and beverage ingredients.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other cafe staff members to maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow. Support colleagues during busy periods, assist with food preparation if required, and contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a coffee-focused establishment.
• Deep knowledge and passion for coffee, including brewing techniques, coffee beans, and flavor profiles.
• Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with customers.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency in coffee preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer orders simultaneously.
• Cash handling experience and basic math skills.
• Exceptional cleanliness and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
