After shaking up the coffee scene in MI, NJ & NY, Chi-town is getting its second Qahwah House in Skokie.

Who we are
Did you know coffee originated in Yemen? Qahwah = Coffee in Arabic.
Qahwah House is re-introducing real coffee to America - as grown in the hills of Yemen. Our organic, sustainably farmed coffee beans come from our farm in Yemen that has been in our family for 8 Generations.

If you are passionate about (real!) coffee, exceptional customer experience and a true farm-to-table experience, we are looking for YOU! As a Qahwah House Barista you will:

• Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer-comes-first attitude and making a personal connection with every customer.
• Execute store operations during scheduled shifts.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard.
• Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues.
• Provide feedback to store manager to continuously improve our performance and customer experience.
• Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.

As a Qahwah House Barista, you can expect flexible schedules, full-time / part-time shifts and hourly pay in the $15 to $18 range (based on experience). Last but not least, you are welcome to all our coffee drinks (complimentary) and discounts on the yummy baked delicacies!
