The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #762 is a fraternal organization in Brazil, IN. The lodge has a rich history and a strong presence in the community. The lodge provides a variety of services to its members, including social activities, community service events, and charitable contributions. Members of the lodge are committed to supporting local charities and organizations, and they are active in community outreach programs. The lodge also offers a banquet room with bar that is available for rent to members and non-members.
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent member drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding members’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for members and/or guests.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Plan and present bar menu
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender.
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
- Must hold a valid Indiana license to serve alcohol.
- Servsafe and TIPS certification a plus
