Location: In office in St. Cloud (location flexible, can also be Mankato) with the ability and openness to travel to sites within the region.
Compensation/Benefits: $55,000-80,000 per year based on experience. All employees are eligible for PTO and 401K, and full-time employees are eligible for MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION, and more!
Job Roles/Responsibilities of the Behavior Analyst:
- Assessment of the person and situation by observing abnormal signs and symptoms, or changes in clients’ condition and communicate this to interdisciplinary team to determine the factors precipitating the crisis.
- Assess, analyze, and develop appropriate behavior strategies to teach new skills and replacement behaviors with an effort to reduce interfering/target behaviors.
- Consult with and train the provider(s) and/or caregiver(s) to ensure successful implementation of the provider intervention plan.
- Provide modeling and other direct instructional support including, but not limited to: practicum supervision/teaching and in-service instruction to other professional.
- Recommendations for service plan revision to prevent or minimize future crisis situations and increase the likelihood of maintaining the person in the community.
- Mentor and train Behavioral Technicians to provide the highest quality of care to our residents and assist staff with developing appropriate screening tools.
- Conduct evaluations and implement a variety of approaches in response to symptoms of mental illnesses.
Behavior Analyst Required Skills and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, OR Licensed Practice Clinical Counselor
- Expertise in Minnesota Prohibited, Restricted and Permitted Procedures and de-escalation techniques.
- Experience and confidence in coaching, supporting, and teaching others.
- Demonstrate use of evidence-based approaches.
- Knowledge and use of DSM-V to inform practice and assessment.
- Knowledge and experience in 245D HCBS provider services and policies.
Behavior Analyst Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Training or certification in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, SFBT, DBT, EMDR, Brain Spotting, RBT, ABA, PBS, PCT, PCP.
- Knowledge and experience with trauma informed practices and experience working in home and community-based settings.
