Comfort Kare supports local families with children/adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other cognitive disorders. We focus on programs (activities) that will help to improve social, communication, and learning skills.

Comfort Kare provides in-home services to our clients. We support clients in the Northern VA area. We are growing our Clinical team and seeking RBTs and Behavior Technicians with ABA experience.

• Morning shift

HIRING & COMPENSATION

Registered Behavior Technicians

• Range $25-$27.00 based on ABA Experience and Education. Must have an ACTIVE registration with the BACB.
• Sign On Bonus $500.00 (allocation based on specific employment terms)

Behavior Technicians w/ ABA Experience

Behavior Technicians w/ Childcare experience seeking ABA experience

• Range $18 - $25.00 with ABA Experience

ON THE JOB:

• Maintain safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients to protect their well-being during treatment sessions and emergencies.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment activities.
• Implement behavior plans.
• Maintain the client’s program/activities binder.
• Write daily session notes
• We are collecting and recording behavioral data to monitor the individual's progress.
• Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending staff meetings and required training.
• Maintain client confidentiality, and dignity and adhere to HIPAA laws.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and with parents.

REQUIREMENTS:

Professional with excellent Time Management skills

Earned: HS Diploma/GED equivalence

Experience working with children and adolescents (with special needs is a plus)

Willingness to continue education/training in ABA

Enthusiasm, creativity and reliability must be a part of your work ethic.

Must have access to reliable transportation with the flexibility to travel within a 30-mile radius.

A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN APPLYING:

• You will need availability to attend an orientation M-F 10 am -4 pm without interruption for the whole week.
• Ability to travel within a 30-mile radius for client assignments.
