Valley Health is hiring a Behavioral Health Specialist for the Children's Clinic as a full-time job in Allentown, PA.
The Behavioral Health Specialist with complete assessments/evaluations, develop, and implement treatment goals, facilitates referrals/resources both internally within the Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP) continuum and throughout the community and provides therapeutic interventions to address patient's mental health needs.
Valley Health Partners Community Health Center is a nonprofit community health center that provides comprehensive primary care and other services such as interpretation, transportation, and health education for the community population. Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or clinical discipline, such as Psychology. Two years of experience in counseling or social work or a related field in a clinical setting.
More than three years of experience in counseling or social work or a related field in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), preferred.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Upon Hire or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Upon Hire, required.
CPR / BLS, required
