· Responsibilities: SEEKING LICENSED BOAT CAPTAINS- mature, detail-oriented, licensed Captains for our five USCG Certified 16, 20, 24, 26 & 26 passenger cycleboat vessels with auxiliary outboard motor. Candidates will operate consecutive 1 ½ hr Boston Inner Harbor tours scheduled at 2hr intervals with an assisting crewmember. Captains will supervise and assist crewmember when needed in daily setup, passenger boarding and supervision, routine maintenance and end of day cleanup. The Captain will have final responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

· Requirements: Must have USCG Master Captain’s License 25 ton minimum, knowledge of Coast Guard safety procedures and Emergency Drills to ensure safety of all passengers and crew members, be able to comply with Coast Guard requirements including drug and alcohol program, CPR and First Aid certification. Applicants should have good interpersonal skills, and enjoy interaction with passengers. A general knowledge of, or desire to learn, and share details of the history and point of interest of the Boston Harbor will be helpful. A strong focus on safety and a desire to deliver friendly service is very important.

· Job Types & Season: Mid April thru October full-time or part-time positions available - Some weekend and holiday availability is required.

· Pay: $30/hr + tips that can be very generous averaging an additional $25/hr to $30/hr + 10% end of season bonus

· Schedule: Shifts set weekly can vary from 3.5hrs to 12hrs per day with an attempt to accommodate, but can not guarantee, crewmembers scheduling preferences. Some weekend and holiday availability is required.
