Working Hours : 20-40 hours ; (it depends and can be extended) and also can be offered some hours of work for every month as per client need )
Pay Rate: As per recent market standards (final rate to be discussed at time of interview with hiring manager)
Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Bookkeeping Expert to join our team.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- The Bookkeeping Expert will be responsible for managing financial records, analyzing, and reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage financial records including accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, and other financial documents.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial reporting regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Owings Mills, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)
