Job Description

At the Holiday Inn Resort, we strive to provide our staff with an enjoyable work experience, while encouraging growth within our company. We are searching for individuals who have prior experience either working as a bouncer/doorman at Bar establishments, previous law enforcement, or who have prior military experience.

What is the job?
Attendants are responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of a company's employees, visitors, and associated property. Your responsibilities will be to monitor the bar area and surrounding facilities to ensure customers behave and are acting in a safe and appropriate manner. While we require all team members at the Resort to embody a customer-service attitude, we are looking for someone who is also comfortable with confrontation and can take charge in heated situations.

Routine duties include:

• · Patrol bar area and surrounding facilities.
• · Assist bartenders with any concerns regarding guest identification.
• · Interacting with guests, providing customer service and safety information if needed.
• · Interact with security staff, providing backup and communicating any concerns.
• · Following protocol for dispersing disruptive patrons from the premises.
• · Notify management of any incidents or suspicious activity.
• · Respond quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency.
• · Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• · Conflict Resolution: Ability to de-escalate situations.
• · Must be able to make guests feel comfortable while keeping a confident, strong presence.
• · Strong Communication.
• · Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• · Ability to learn and follow protocol.

Physical Requirements:

• · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• · Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and handle occasional physical altercations.
• · Regular Walking, Bending, Stooping and Kneeling at times.

Experience:

• · Law enforcement, military experience, corrections officer, or bouncer experience:

1-3+ years (Preferred)

Pay Range:

• · Pay rate will be determined based on several factors: Experience, Qualifications
