Position Summary:

MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Budget Analyst at the Aberdeen Proving Ground. Successful candidate will execute funds financial applications including but not limited to GFEBS, GFEBS-SA, PMRT, and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing team in the early stages of a newly awarded 5-year task order with multiple opportunities for upward advancement supporting EW&C. The EW&C program delivers critical capabilities to counter current and future threats, enabling the next generation of warfighting capabilities from sensor to Soldier worldwide. By applying game changing cyber technologies through agile development methodology, we enable battlefield dominance for our Warfighters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Creating funding documents in GFEBS and GFEBS-SA.
  • create cost reports, reconcile transactions, identify errors, troubleshoot anomalies, make adjustments/corrections
  • Resolving ULOs, UMTs, and IDOCs in DoD financial systems
  • Perform JRP Quarterly Tasks
  • Perform GFEBS financial document approvals (L1)
  • Create and manage excel spreadsheets and develop pivot tables
  • Be familiar with Defense Travel System from a financial standpoint
  • Year-end close out financial system activities
  • Resolving NULOs
  • Researching issues in GFEBS, GFEBS-SA, and LMP
  • Run GFEBS execution reports
  • Validating and reviewing monthly GPC transactions for audit readiness
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills
  • Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SME in Excel, i.e. experienced with Pivot Tables
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must have 6+ years of experience as a budget / financial analyst
  • Must have experience with GFEBS and other financial databases
Clearance
  • Secret

Education
  • HS/GED Equivalent
Desired Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DAWIA Business Financial Management (Preferred).
Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to work within an office/lab environment.
